Repasted GPU with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste. Replaced all stock thermal pads (front and back) with Thermalright Oddyssey 12.8W/mk thermal pads, and added extra pads on the back . I removed backplate completely, and installed a custom copper block directly on the thermal pads, and the copper block (9 cm x 6.5 cm x 1 cm – L x W x H, 1.5 kg) is actively cooled by a 280mm CPU watercooler (NZXT Kraken X63), which is screwed in the copper block just like on a CPU, and it has Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut (liquid metal) as thermal interface. |
